Our Story

SAX is a family business founded and run by a woman since 1998.

The roots of the SAX family arrived in San Jose around 1978, in the last years of the golden age of the Sea of Cortez, -when famous people walked and lived with the locals, and when the marine biodiversity of Los Cabos was Totally incredible! - In those days, the family founded the first tourist store on the main avenue of the historic center of San Jose, called "Curios Mexico", where they sold Mexican folk art and Taxco silver.

Mrs. Mary Kay was one of our main clients who we longed to see every start of the season, not only because of her good purchases but because she also always brought us hundreds of cosmetic samples as a gift! says Susana Bueno, the founder.

SAX es una empresa familiar fundada y dirigida por una mujer desde 1998.
